DMCA Takedown Policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026

RollReport respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy describes how to submit a notice of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and how we handle counter-notices.

Designated Copyright Agent

Designated Agent: DMCA Designated Agent

Company: Frame of Reference Solutions LLC

Email: dmca@frameofreferencesolutions.com

Mailing address: 500 Thayer Center STE C, Oakland, MD 21550, USA

Email notices are strongly preferred. We respond to valid notices within 48 hours on business days.

Note: DMCA filings to the U.S. Copyright Office's directory of designated agents are highly recommended. A registered agent filing is $6 and protects safe-harbor status — Frame of Reference Solutions LLC will register an agent prior to public launch.

Elements of a Valid DMCA Notice

To be effective under §512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works, a representative list is acceptable.
  2. Identification of the infringing material, with enough detail for us to locate it — typically, the full URL of the page or resource on https://rollreport.gg.
  3. Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized agent.

Incomplete notices will be returned with a request for the missing elements.

What We Do With a Valid Notice

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
  2. Investigate and, if infringement is substantiated or facially likely, remove or disable access to the material promptly.
  3. Notify the user or source that posted the material (if applicable) of the takedown.
  4. Forward a copy of the notice to the affected user.
  5. Make reasonable efforts to prevent re-upload of the same material (e.g., URL hashing for user-submitted video links).

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error (for example, because the content was public domain, used with permission, licensed, or qualifies as fair use), you may submit a counter-notice with the following required elements under §512(g):

  1. Identification of the material removed and its location before removal.
  2. Your contact information — name, address, telephone, email.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which we may be found).
  5. A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their agent.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send counter-notices to the Designated Agent above.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will:

  1. Forward the counter-notice to the original complainant.
  2. Notify them that we will restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless they file an action in federal court seeking a restraining order.
  3. Restore the material between business day 10 and 14 absent a court order.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with §512(i), we maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers. A user who receives three (3) valid DMCA takedowns within any twelve-month period will have their account terminated. We track strikes in an internal moderation log.

Trademark and Other Claims

For trademark, defamation, privacy, publicity-rights, or other non-copyright concerns, contact us at legal@frameofreferencesolutions.com with the same level of specificity outlined above. We investigate in good faith and respond within 7 business days.

Abuse of the DMCA Process

Submitting a knowingly false notice can subject you to liability under §512(f). We review notices for good-faith compliance and reject those that are clearly abusive, malformed, or submitted in bad faith.

Scraped / Aggregated Public Records

A substantial portion of the Service consists of aggregated public competition records (athlete names, match outcomes, medals) obtained from publicly accessible sanctioning-body websites such as IBJJF, Smoothcomp, and NAGA. These records are facts and, in the aggregate, constitute our compilation under U.S. copyright law. If you are a sanctioning body or data source and have concerns about our aggregation practice, please contact us at legal@frameofreferencesolutions.com — we respond to platform-level concerns outside the formal DMCA process and aim to resolve them amicably.
