Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RollReport, a service operated by Frame of Reference Solutions LLC, a Maryland limited liability company ("RollReport," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the site at https://rollreport.gg (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RollReport is an independent platform that aggregates publicly available Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling competition data from sanctioning bodies including but not limited to IBJJF, Smoothcomp federations, NAGA, PBJJF, Controlled Combat, and user-submitted content. We are not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, any tournament organization.

2. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All original content on the Service — including the aggregated athlete records, rankings, analytics, user interface, code, design, and branding — is the property of Frame of Reference Solutions LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Third-party trademarks (IBJJF, Smoothcomp, NAGA, and others) remain the property of their respective owners. We assert a compilation copyright over our aggregated database.

Restrictions. You may not, without our prior written consent:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using any automated means;
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any part of the Service;
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical protections;
  • Use our content to train a machine-learning model or generative AI system for commercial purposes;
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice;
  • Use the Service to build a competing product.

Fair use for individual research, journalism, or academic study is permitted with attribution ("Source: RollReport.gg").

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to follow athletes, track events, and submit content. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current information;
  • Keep your password confidential;
  • Not create an account if you are under 13 years of age;
  • Not impersonate any person or entity;
  • Not share your account with others.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion for violations of these Terms.

4. User-Submitted Content

You may submit match video links (YouTube, Instagram, FloGrappling, Vimeo, or X/Twitter URLs) and other content to the Service. By submitting content, you:

  • Represent that you have the right to share it;
  • Grant Frame of Reference Solutions LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to display, index, and make the content available through the Service;
  • Understand that submitted content is reviewed and may be removed without notice;
  • Agree not to submit content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or privacy rights; is defamatory, obscene, or illegal; or promotes violence or harassment.

We are not obligated to review or retain any user-submitted content. We may remove content at any time for any reason.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
  • Collect or store personal data about other users without consent;
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent match data or video links;
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate any person;
  • Engage in competitive scraping of our data for use in other products.

6. Athlete Records

Athlete competition records on the Service are aggregated from public sources including official federation websites, published brackets, and official results. We do not publish full dates of birth, home addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers for athletes. If you are an athlete (or a parent/guardian of a minor athlete) and wish to correct or remove information, contact us at hello@rollreport.gg.

7. DMCA and Takedown

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See our DMCA Policy for the notice and counter-notice procedure.

8. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party websites (e.g., Smoothcomp event pages, YouTube videos). We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party sites.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE DATA IS COMPLETE OR ACCURATE AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT.

Competition data aggregated from third-party sources may contain errors, omissions, or delays. Do not rely on the Service for official competition results, registration status, or live match schedules. Always confirm with the sanctioning organization.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Frame of Reference Solutions LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frame of Reference Solutions LLC from any claim, demand, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Garrett County, Maryland for any dispute not subject to arbitration under §14.

14. Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver

Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will, at the election of either party, be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be held in Garrett County, Maryland or remotely by mutual agreement.

YOU AGREE THAT YOU MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST Frame of Reference Solutions LLC ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

This arbitration clause does not apply to small-claims court actions, intellectual-property claims, or equitable relief for violations of §2 (Ownership).

Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by sending written notice to hello@rollreport.gg within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and DMCA Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Frame of Reference Solutions LLC regarding the Service.
